Another early day as we are up at 6am to take the paddle canoe back to the mainland, then walk 45 minutes then take a motorized canoe then a bus to the airport for our morning flight to Cuzco. We waited 2 hours for a 30 minute flight...sigh...bad thing is they have to wait for the flight from Lima to arrive and if there are high winds, it will not take off until the winds die down...which I suppose I cannot complain about.
Off the plane to a bus to take us to our hotel..it´s very colonnial and pretty and spanish...We had a late lunch at 3:00 at Paititi where everyone indulged in some traditional Peruvian food..tasty...then back to the hotel for our briefing concerning the Lares Trek..hmm...she said it may go down to below 0...hmm I may need to do some shopping...:)
And now we are off to dinner at 7:30pm...later
